The Know-How Network is a web-based directory of professional service providers who offer their services at discounted rates to assist the start-up ventures at ATI. This service network includes hundreds of individuals and companies across a wide range of areas such as legal, accounting, human resources, insurance, and many others. The know-how network contains contact information, services offered, rates & discounts, and client references for the service providers.

If you have worked with a service provider or professional services firm that you would like to recommend to us, please contact the ATI Director of Member Services, or refer them directly to the ATI Web Site.

To access the Know-How Network:

1. Contact the ATI Director of Member Services to receive a password.
   
2. From the ATI website , follow the quicklink to "Know-how Network."
   
3. Login using your login name and password
   
4. Using the navigation buttons at the left of the screen, you can find a listing of know-how network companies by company or person.

In addition to the information included in the know-how network, ATI can provide confidential references for specific service providers. See the Director of Member Services for details.

DISCOUNTS

As an aggregator of small business enterprises, ATI has obtained discounted prices from various businesses for goods and services essential to growing companies. A partial list of these discounts follows. (These arrangements in no way bind ATI companies to use of specific service providers. See ATI staff for the latest information.)

• ADP - providing outsourcing of payroll services, at less than $5 per employee per pay period. (20% discount for ATI companies.)
  
  
• Amerisuites (Hotel) will provide ATI companies with the same corporate rate received by large corporate customers: $85 per night or $69 for extended stay, 28% and 42% discounts, respectively, off of the normal price of $119. Guests will also receive free access to the Q Club..
  
  
• Cardservice International (Bankcard Processing) - This is a discount established by NBIA and passed along to us. If your company receives credit card payment, this might be worth a look. Contact Joe Suarez at
  
  
• Dun & Bradstreet - ATI companies can sign-up as contract customers of D&B for a flat fee of $9.90 per month (through a discount from the National Business Incubator Association.) Client companies will receive a 32.5% discount off regular prices.
  
  
• Ernst & Young "Ernie" - ATI companies have been subscribed to Ernie, the online question and answer forum of Ernst and Young. Please contact Joel Wiggins at 305-0033 for more information.
  
  
• Ginny's (Printing/Copying) - will determine discounts by the job, but guarantees ATI companies the cheapest corporate pricing available, and will match any price lower than theirs.
  
  
• Ikon Office Solutions (On-site photocopy management) who are responsible for maintaining the ATI copy machines, offer a special rate for graduating ATI companies.
  
  
• Microsoft Developer's Network Suite - ATI companies may purchase the Microsoft Developer's Network Suite of software for a discounted cost of $400 (compared to the $1500 list price.) Software developers can also receive Microsoft's MSDN ISV Start-up Program at no cost.
  
  
• New Horizons Computer Learning Center - provides ATI companies with discounted rates on computer training (Microsoft, Novell, and others).
  
  
• Office Depot: All ATI companies are eligible to receive this discount, which offers 50-60% off list price for most office items. To sign up, contact Whitney Gore, Account Manager, at 837-8999 x113, and tell her that you want to take advantage of the ATI discount. You will need to set up an account with Office Depot. A line of credit of $1,000 can be established in most cases. Ordering and account management are available on-line; purchases may also be made at any Office Depot store.
  
  
• PakSoft: provides CD-R and CD-ROM duplications at bulk rates. ATI companies receive a 10% discount.
  
  
• PR Newswire provides ATI companies with a 20% discount on distribution of press releases to local and national news media, financial news services, websites, and others.
  
  
• Rockford Business Interiors (office furniture) is putting together a discounted furniture purchase program for graduating companies--more details to come.
  
  
• UT Online Library Services - Most online UT databases can be accessed only by a UT student or member of the Ex-Students Association. Contact the Director of Member Services for details.
  
  
• TEEX Training Facility (Meeting/Conference Space) provides discounts on meeting space. Additionally, discounts at DoubleTree-Club Hotel and La QuintaiNorth are available through TEEX.
  
  
• Xerox Corporation offers certified pre-owned copiers at prices substantially below the original list price. NBIA members and their clients receive an additional 5% discount.
